Abstract

3D scans of models of a phut or snap melon. The models were created around 1803 most likely by Franz Stoll or Johann Jaich, who were employed at the Naturalien-Cabinet, the predecessor of the Natural History Museum Vienna, as wax modellers. They are made of plaster and were coloured by hand. The model were used in the exhibit of the Naturalien-Cabinet.
