Abstract

3D scan of a figure that is holding a dove in her hand, that is part of the architecture in Hall 6 of the NHM Vienna, representing the element of “Air”. The bird has spread its wings as if about to fly away.

All figures in Hall 6 at the NHM Vienna were created by the Austrian sculptor Edmund Hofmann von Aspernburg (1847-1930).
