Abstract

3D scan of a dodo skeleton. This specimen probably was put together from the remains of several birds. There is no complete dodo skeleton left, nevertheless the NHM Vienna owns one of the most complete skeletons. Dodos lived exclusively on the islands of Mauritius and Reunion. The last dodo probably went extinct about 1690.
