Abstract

3D scan of a Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis), the largest lizard species in the world. The males grow up to 3 m long and weigh 70 kg. This specimen is around 2.3 m long (from snout to tail). The Komodo dragon lives on the island of Komodo and the surrounding Indonesian islands in savannahs and dry forests.
